Something else in Seville

There is no better scenario than Seville to get to know a little bit more about Carmen. A woman, a gipsy, from the district of Triana, who works in the Tobacco Factory at the begining of the XIX century. She fights for women  rights and dignity, but she will pay a huge price for it. This legend became our history.

The director Salvador Távora mixed flamenco with theatre, introducing processional cornets and drums sounds, guitars with masterful sings and dances, but without forgetting to introduce some Bizet´s fragments. He creates a new Carmen, very andalusian and real. This combination has surprised and moved more than 2 million people in 25 countries and, of course, it has been awarded with a lot of prizes. You shouldn’t miss it!
